eMAR and Transition Support
The transition to electronic medication administration records (eMAR) is absolutely imperative in both the skilled nursing and assisted living environment. IPPC partners with numerous eMAR software vendors and offers on-site and remote support to guarantee seamless transition from paper MARs.
Transition Support
IPPC provides dedicated support staff throughout the entire transition process. IPPC also provides all equipment necessary to administer the software including tablets or laptop computers which are mounted to the medication carts. Most importantly, IPPC will provide the eMAR portion of the software free of charge to your facility.

Nursing Consultants
IPPC realizes that the key to quality customer service is communication. That is why we offer all of our customers account representatives along with licensed registered nurse liaisons to assure that any issues that may arise are addressed and rectified in a timely manner.
Our nurse liaisons help facilities remain in compliance with certified medication aid regulations and help maintain a constant bridge between the pharmacy and the facility. Our nurses all have years of experience in long term care and assisted living, allowing them to understand the issues you encounter on a daily basis.
In-services and educational seminars are offered as needed along with training on medication administration.

DISPILL (Synmed)

DISPILL is a 14 day or 28 multi-dose blister card. Each individual blister is perforated, which allows the blister to serve as the medication cup and allows the patient to easily transport their medications if they travel outside the facility. |
OPUS Cassettes
 |
The OPUS color-coded cassette is a 14 day unit dose system. Each cassette is color coded by time and the medications are contained within a tamper-evident cassette, with each pill in its own compartment. There is no reordering process for routine medication as orders are sent to the facility on a predetermined cycle. OPUS cassettes lead to less waste and allow for a simplified return process. |
